Calm, poised, and unperturbed
Alone but not lonely, it rides the tides
Greenish yellow with serrated edges
Light and weightless, it bounces along
Savours everything that comes its way
Dances through the turbulent hill stream
Drifts across the glassy placid lake
Sways in the graceful murmuring river
Doused by water, sparkling and murky
Not sodden nor shaken, it glistens and shines
Tumbles into the vast limitless ocean
Rises and falls, plays with the waves
Infinite happiness and boundless joy
Home at last, it smiles in peace
Doors have opened, time has come
It wilts, it fades, it withers away!

Never hesitate. It is lovely. But even if someone were to feel otherwise, our duty is to spread beauty and not worry about approval.

But it is part of you….of who you are. You should post freely, with joy, that which brings you joy. That’s my thought anyway. (thanx for the compliment)

What? And deprive us of such amazing metaphorical expressions? You better whatsapp me any more such hidden treasure, please!

If wilting and fading into oblivion be what everyone is destined for, why not ride the cradle of joy on the way to meet destiny! The one who rots sitting on the perch rots truely π wonderful poem!

Thank you, Deb. That we’re not forever, that nothing is forever is strangely the very thing we never acknowledge.
