Belonging to the tiny little hill station of Shillong, the capital of the picturesque north eastern state of Meghalaya, I was fortunate to grow up amidst tall pines and green hills harboring colorful butterflies, gushing streams, floating clouds, and myriads of flowers. Hence, it’s no surprise that exploring nature gives me boundless joy and it’s this joy that drives my passion for travel. Something else that truly fascinates me is people and their unique cultures. It’s amazing to think that we are all the same human beings with the same biological constitution yet how diverse and different we can be. And that’s another driver that fuels my passion for travel.
